Valencia Basket travels to Romania to visit U-BT Cluj-Napoca for the first time

Valencia Basket men's team is back on the road after two solid home wins, set to visit U-BT Cluj-Napoca for the first time (Wednesday 9th, 18:00, BT Arena, Movistar Deportes 3) in a matchup of Round 3 of the BKT EuroCup.

 

The taronja team will aim to carry the positive momentum from last week’s games away from Fonteta into one of the most vibrant venues in their group, facing a rival looking to secure their first victory in the tournament. While there are no previous matchups between these two teams, Valencia Basket won their only previous official game in Romania (in Ploiesti in 2015).

 

Point guard Sergio De Larrea returns to the squad after recovering from his muscle injury. He has joined the traveling roster of twelve that departed for Cluj-Napoca this morning. Goran Filipovic, due to a coach's decision, and long-term injured player Chris Jones are missing from the trip.

 

Valencia Basket currently holds the top position in Group B with a record of 2-0.
